I have won a prize, how do I collect my winnings?

Will Golden Casket alert me personally if I have won a prize?

Golden Casket only contacts Winners Circle card members. If you receive an email claiming to be from Golden Casket regarding a major prize win, it is likely to be a scam.

Winners Circle card members are notified of any minor prizes that have not been claimed when using their Winners Circle card at a Golden Casket Outlet, and will also receive a cheque automatically posted to them 4 weeks after the draw, for any prizes not already claimed.

I live interstate, how do I claim a prize?

You will need to complete a Prize Claim form. Once you have downloaded and completed the form, enclose your ORIGINAL winning lotto tickets and/or Instant Scratch-Its tickets, remembering to keep copies for your own records. Secure the Prize Claim Form and your original winning lotto tickets in an envelope, affix a postage stamp and post to:

Your prize payment should be processed and paid within 10 working days of receipt of your claim form by Golden Casket, or after the necessary waiting periods as listed.

Do I need to pay tax on my winnings?

No. As with all Golden Casket products, prizes are tax-free.

What happens if I win division one?

Online members will be notified via email on the next business day after the draw if you win a Division One prize. After notification, it will take approximately 14 days for Golden Casket to confirm your win and to arrange for payment.

What happens if I win division two, three and below?

You will be notified via email on the next business day after the draw if you win a Division Two prize and below. Your winnings will be automatically credited to your Account.
