Two months after her winning number was drawn, an Illawarra woman has finally discovered she is the region’s mystery Lucky Lotteries winner who has $200,000 ready to collect.
 
The excited winner pocketed Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot’s guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in draw 1085, which was drawn on Thursday 22 March 2018 – she just didn’t know it.
 
“I can’t believe it! Honestly, I can’t!” she exclaimed when speaking with a NSW Lotteries official this morning.
 
“I was at the shops to buy something for dinner and thought I’d finally better check the ticket that’s been sitting in my drawer at home.
 
“I thought I might have won $20 or something, but nothing like this!


“I’ve never, ever in my life won anything like this!” she said.


 As the woman’s winning entry was not registered to a Players Club Card, NSW Lotteries officials had no way of contacting the ticketholder and had been eagerly waiting for them to check their entry.
 
When asked what she would do first with her prize, the winner answered with a laugh: “Go to Kmart! It’s my favourite store! I love Kmart!”
 
“No. Honestly, I’ll give some money to my children and grandchildren.
 
“They’re all great kids. They’re good to me and they deserve to be treated to something special.”
 
The winning entry of one random number was purchased at X-tra Warrawong, Shop 39-40 Warrawong Plaza, Warrawong.
 
This is the second time in two years that X-tra Warrawong has sold a 1st Prize winning Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot entry.
 
X-tra Warrawong manager Lisa Vigorito said the outlet was thrilled the winner has been united with their prize.
 
“It may have taken two months, but we finally have a winner!
 
“We’re so excited for our customer – possibly more excited than she is. I think she might still be in a bit of shock.
 
“Just wait until she sees the money appear in her account – it will be very real then!”
 
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $12.76 million for draw 1100 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $3.36 million for draw 10230.
