Eighteen Aussies have awoken to two surprises this morning: the first that they won division two in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw, and the second that their windfall has been bolstered by more than $55,000.

As part of the current Cashcade promotion, as there were no division one winners in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3688, an extra $1 million was shared among all division two winners.

This boosted the division two prize to $59,015.85 for each of the winners across the Lott’s jurisdictions – including eight in New South Wales, two in Victoria, two in Tasmania, one in Queensland, and one in South Australia.

However as many of last night’s division two winning entries were unregistered, some winners may have yet to discover the happy surprise.

New South Wales winner dreamt winning numbers

One New South Wales winner, an Ingleburn woman in her 40s, screamed with delight this morning when her win was confirmed.

She explained that she used numbers that appeared to her in a dream to mark her winning System 10 entry from Ingleburn Newsagency in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto.

“No way!  Oh my God!  I’ve never won anything like that in my life!  I had a dream about those numbers and I woke up and wrote them down.  I’ve been using them for the past six months,” she said.

“I’m gobsmacked.  I’m blown away by it.  That’s made my month!  I don’t know what we’ll do with the win, but I know I want to go on a holiday!”

The Ingleburn Newsagency winner was one of eight division two winners in New South Wales.

Bondi Sixway News sold two of the division two winning entries, with the other winning entries from Dural Newsagency, newsXpress Merrylands, To’s Newsagency (Hornsby), Parkers Greengate Newsagency (Orange), and Shoppingworld Newsagency (Tamworth).
