What would you do with more than $3.3 million? That’s the question Tatts officials are waiting to ask a Northern Territory resident or visitor who bought a winning entry in last night’s Oz Lotto draw, but has yet to come forward to claim their prize.

The new millionaire was one of three division one winners nationally in Oz Lotto draw 1209 on Tuesday 18 April 2017, with each taking home a division one prize of $3,333,333.34.

The other division one winners were from New South Wales and the ACT.

Tatts is calling on customers to check any Lotto tickets they bought from Leanyer Newsagency, Hibiscus Shoppingtown, Cnr Leanyer & Vanderlin Drive, Leanyer.

Tatts spokesperson Matt Hart said the division one winning ticket was not registered to a Tatts Card so officials had no clues or contact details for the mysterious missing winner.

“Our missing millionaire could be a local resident or someone who bought the entry while visiting the region.  We don’t know who yet, but we’d love to unite the winner with their $3.3 million windfall,” he said.

“With more than $3.3 million to be claimed, it could pay for you to have a clean-up around the house, car or anywhere else you stash Lotto tickets.

“We recommend anyone who believes they are holding the division one winning entry to keep it in a safe place and contact Tatts as soon as possible on 131 868 to start the prize claim process.”

Leanyer Newsagency staff member Louise Rieck said the outlet was celebrating selling another division one winning entry.

“It’s exciting news!  We’ve been telling everyone who comes in!” she exclaimed.

“Looking at the plaques on the wall, we’ve sold about eight division one entries over the years but we haven’t had a win in a while so it was about time!

“We can’t wait to break the news to our customer and help them celebrate!”

The six winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1209 on Tuesday 18 April 2017 were 42, 13, 33, 44, 39, 29 and 27.  The supplementary numbers were 15 and 31.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 320 so far this financial year, including 132 won by Tatts customers.
