Australians have the chance to dream big about how they would enjoy life as a multi-millionaire if they take out Powerball’s division one prize this week.

After jackpotting for five weeks, Powerball is offering an incredible $40 million jackpot in this Thursday night’s draw!
That’s right, the jackpot is continuing its streak, soaring to a whopping $40 million!

But you may be wondering what numbers are on a winning streak?

While Powerball is a game of chance and every number has an equal chance of being drawn, there are some numbers we have seen more often than others.

Remember, Powerball involves two game barrels— the main barrel draws the seven winning numbers from 1 to 35, and the second barrel draws the single all-important Powerball number. We’re excited to reveal the most frequently drawn numbers for each!

From the main barrel, the most frequently drawn numbers include, 17, 2, 25, 29, and 34.

Number 17 has made the most appearances, being been drawn 20 times since April 2018.

As for the Powerball barrel, where a single Powerball number between one and 20 is drawn, there are two numbers that have been drawn more than any other.

Numbers 3 and 19 have been on a roll and drawn as the Powerball a total of six times!

These two numbers have actually enjoyed a long-standing reign at the top of the list. In January this year, both numbers had been drawn four times. Six months later they are still vying to be the most frequently drawn Powerball number, closely followed by number 13 which has been drawn five times.

Will we see any of these numbers continue their streak this week?

If you haven’t purchased your entry into Thursday night’s draw yet, you’ve still got time to decide if they could be the start of your own winning run.

With $40 million on the line, it’s sure to be a busy day in-store and online. Get in early before the draw closes at 7:30pm AEST on Thursday 27 June, 2019.
