A syndicate of 80 TattsLotto players across Melbourne will share more than $1.5 million after winning a division one prize in the weekend’s $20 million TattsLotto Superdraw.

The large syndicate, whose share were purchased from 16 different Tatts outlets across Melbourne, won a prize totalling $1,505,304.83, with each member claiming $18,816.30 in prize money.

In addition to winning the division one prize of $1,428,571.43, the syndicate’s entry also won division three 54 times, division four 540 times and division five 55 times.

The group syndicate’s marked entry, consisting of five System 15 and five System 10 games, was one of 14 division one winning entries across Australia in the weekend’s $20 million Superdraw event.

The syndicate was created by Highlands News & Lotto, Shop 17, Stockland Highlands, 300 Grand Boulevard, Craigieburn.

Highlands News & Lotto manager Kevin Ung said he was overjoyed the long-running, cross-town syndicate had won again, following a previous division one $1.68 million win in 2013.

“Another division one win! Amazing!” Mr Ung exclaimed.

“What makes this even more special is that one of my regular customers has won a division one share for a second time!

“He found out about the win on Sunday and said it made for a wonderful Mother’s Day present for his wife.”

“This is the second time in less than two months that we’ve sold a division one winner!  Another one of our syndicates won division one in Monday and Wednesday Lotto on 28 March 2018.”

Tatts spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said some members of the winning syndicate held unregistered entries and may have yet to discover their winning news.

“What a great way to start your working week – discovering you’ve pocketed more than $18,000!

“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entry to their Tatts Cards, there are several syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.

“If you purchased a share in a syndicate for the weekend’s TattsLotto $20 million Superdraw, today’s the day to check it!  If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call Tatts on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”
