A generous Vermont South local is looking forward to sharing their prize of $990,953.99 after winning division one in TattsLotto draw 3805 on Saturday 6 January 2018.

The happy winner confessed they had been waiting for confirmation of their win since checking their numbers on Saturday evening following the draw.

“The most I’ve ever won is $35! So this is just great!”

The generous player confessed they have planned to share their windfall.

“We don’t need it at this stage in our lives so we will probably share it with our family and some to charity too.”

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased their 12-game QuickPick entry from Vermont South Newsagency, shop 14, Vermont South Shopping Centre, Vermont South.

Peter Xu, owner of Vermont South Newsagency, said he was thrilled to have sold a division one winning entry.

“I was so happy to find out on Sunday that we had sold a division one winner!” he exclaimed.

“It is the first one since we took ownership of the newsagency so we’ve put signs up telling everyone we’ve sold a division one winner.

“Everyone in the small shopping centre we are based in is talking about it.

“Congratulations to our winner, we wish them all the best with their prize!”

The six winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3805 on Saturday 6 January 2018 were 32, 31, 44, 35, 3 and 12, while the supplementary numbers were 14 and 13.
