Verifying your account

Before your first withdrawal can be processed, the lottery licences issued to Tatts require that you verify the information you provided during registration.

What you need to do

How you verify your account, will depend on your membership type;

  • If you joined Tatts Online before October 4, 2011 you will need to send ID documents to Tatts. See the section below 'Document based verification'
  • If you joined Tatts Online after October 4, 2011 or you are a tatts.com member, you can verify your account online.

Online verification

For Australian residents who joined Tatts after October 4, 2011

If you are an Australian resident who joined Tatts after October 4, 2011 just click the Verify Account button at the top of the screen. This enables you to verify your account online with no paperwork.

Document based verification

For international residents & members who joined before October 4, 2011

If you have joined before October 4, 2011 you will not see a Verify Account button. You will need to verify your account by sending us copies of your ID documents which prove your age, name and place of residence. You can send these copies by email (good quality scan), fax or mail.

  • Drivers Licence
  • Passport
  • Government Issued Proof of Age card
  • Birth Certificate

If your information does not successfully confirm all three required areas, we may reply and ask you for additional information.

TIP: Faxed documents should be sent in high or fine detail and enlarged or lightened so that they are received in a legible condition. Scanned and emailed documents are preferred if possible.
