Q. What's happening with ticket prices?
A. From 19 August 2019, entries into TattsLotto, Monday & Wednesday Lotto, Oz Lotto, Powerball, Set for Life and Super 66 were increased by about 1%.
This price increase will be used to increase the commission paid to our retailers.
Q. Does the ticket increase mean prizes are going up?
A. There are no changes to the current prize structures of our games.
Q. Why are Lucky Lotteries and Instant Scratch-Its being excluded?
A. There are no changes to the current prices of Instant Scratch-Its and Lucky Lotteries tickets because these are fixed price games (For example, a $1, $2 and $5 Instant Scratch-Its).
Q. The price increase is 1%, where can I see all of the new prices?
A. The prices of all our lottery games will be available in-store, online and via the Lott App. For a full list of new pricing (including Pick and System Entries) you can download our Cost of Entry brochure.
Q. Why are you increasing the prices for Powerball when they were just increased?
A. Changes to the Powerball game, including a small increase in the price of entry and altered game structure, were introduced in April 2018 to allow the game to be Australia's biggest jackpotting game and more frequently offer large multi-million dollar jackpots.
The price increases to some of our lottery games from 19 August 2019 are to increase the commission rate paid to our retailers.
Q. How will the price increase work for SyndiMate?
A. All syndicates created using SyndiMate AND scanned in-store after 19 August 2019 will be charged at the new prices, even if the SyndiMate barcode was generated before 19 August 2019.
