Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What's happening with ticket prices?

A. From 19 August 2019, entries into TattsLotto, Monday & Wednesday Lotto, Oz Lotto, Powerball, Set for Life and Super 66 were increased by about 1%.

This price increase will be used to increase the commission paid to our retailers.

Q. Does the ticket increase mean prizes are going up?

A. There are no changes to the current prize structures of our games.

Q. Why are Lucky Lotteries and Instant Scratch-Its being excluded?

A. There are no changes to the current prices of Instant Scratch-Its and Lucky Lotteries tickets because these are fixed price games (For example, a $1, $2 and $5 Instant Scratch-Its).

Q. The price increase is 1%, where can I see all of the new prices?

A. The prices of all our lottery games will be available in-store, online and via the Lott App. For a full list of new pricing (including Pick and System Entries) you can download our Cost of Entry brochure.

Q. Why are you increasing the prices for Powerball when they were just increased?

A. Changes to the Powerball game, including a small increase in the price of entry and altered game structure, were introduced in April 2018 to allow the game to be Australia's biggest jackpotting game and more frequently offer large multi-million dollar jackpots.

The price increases to some of our lottery games from 19 August 2019 are to increase the commission rate paid to our retailers.

Q. How will the price increase work for SyndiMate?

A. All syndicates created using SyndiMate AND scanned in-store after 19 August 2019 will be charged at the new prices, even if the SyndiMate barcode was generated before 19 August 2019.

Q. What's happening to membership fees?

A. From 19 August 2019, our Tatts Card program no longer requires a membership fee to access all benefits including guaranteed prize protection for entries purchased in-store, entries into Monthly Bonus Draws, saving Favourite entries and more.

Q. What happens if I have just paid/renewed my Membership fee?

A. If you have paid for your Tatts Card membership in advance, the pro-rated portion of any membership fee paid beyond 31 July 2019 (excluding retailer commission) will be available for reimbursement in-store or online until 30 June 2020.

As part of the transition to free Membership, customers will not be charged any fee ($0) for renewing their membership between Thursday 1 August 2019 and Sunday 18 August 2019.

Q. How do I claim my reimbursement?

A. From Monday 19 August 2019, eligible reimbursements can be claimed in-store by scanning your Tatts Card at your next visit. The reimbursement will be made in cash, or may be used towards the purchase of your favourite lottery games.

If you have an online account with a linked Tatts Card, you may choose to claim your reimbursement into your online account via the Lott Website or App, which may be used towards the purchase of your favourite lottery games. Alternatively, the reimbursement can be withdrawn from a verified online account to your nominated bank account.

If eligible, you have until 30 June 2020 to claim your reimbursement.
