Winners Circle Bonus Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions: Instructions and information on how to enter the promotion form part of these terms and conditions, and entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  2. Type of Promotion: This promotion is a Promotional Lottery conducted pursuant to Schedule 9 of the Lotteries Rule 2010 (Qld); 

  3. Promoter: The promoter is Golden Casket Lottery Corporation Pty Ltd, ABN 27 078 785 449, 87 Ipswich Road, Woolloongabba Qld 4102, phone 131 868 (Qld) (Promoter).  The Promoter and its related companies are referred to as the Promoter Group.

  4. Promotion Period: The Promotion will be conducted on an individual weekly basis for the period commencing 28 August 2017 to 26 August 2018 (inclusive) (Promotion Period).

  5. Promo Week: Each individual week is referred to as a Promo Week. A Promo Week is the period of one week between 00:00:00 Monday and 23:59:59 Sunday during the Promotion Period. 

  6. Eligibility: Entry to the promotion is free. 
    1. Entry is open to:
      a) residents of Queensland who are 18 years of age or older; and
      b) who are registered with the Promoter as a Winners Circle card holder whose Winners Circle card is current and active at time of purchase; or
      c) who have a Product Account with Golden Casket as defined in the Promoter Group’s relevant terms and conditions associated with the operation of the person’s Product Account which is linked to the entrant’s Winners Circle card that is current and active at time of purchase; and
      d) who use their Golden Casket Product Account or their Winners Circle card to purchase a Saturday Gold Lotto, Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto, Powerball, Oz Lotto, Set for Life, Lucky Lotteries, The Pools or Super 66 entry (Eligible Entry). 
    2. The following people are not eligible to enter this promotion or win any prizes resulting from this promotion:
      a) employees of the Promoter Group who are directly involved with the conduct of any of the draws for this promotion; and/or 
      b) an entrant whose Winners Circle card is either deactivated due to a Responsible Gambling concern or inactive for another reason. 
  7. How to enter: The Promoter will automatically enter you into the Promotion each time you register an Eligible Entry to your Winners Circle Card.

  8. Number of entries: The number of entries you will receive and the Promo Week in which you are entered is as follows;
    a) For a purchase which is not a multi-draw / multi-week entry, you will receive one entry in a Promo Week for each $1.00 (or part thereof) of the value of the Eligible Entry. The draw close date of the Eligible Entry is used to determine which Promo Week the entries are entered into.
    b) For a purchase which is a multi-draw / multi-week entry, the value of the Eligible Entry will be divided by the draws for which it is valid to arrive at a “value for each draw”. You will then receive one entry into each Promo Week for each $1.00 (or part thereof) that relates to draws that have closed within that Promo Week. 
    c) If an Entrant cancels their Eligible Entry, their entry/s into the promotion may be cancelled in relation to that Eligible Entry. 

  9. Prizes: There are five (5) prizes of AU $5,000 for each Promo Week as prescribed in clause 5. 

  10. Conduct of the draw: The winning entries for each Promo Week during the Promotion Period will be drawn randomly by computer, at 9:00:00 on the Wednesday following the respective Promo Week at 87 Ipswich Road, Woolloongabba, Queensland, 4102. If this is a public holiday, it will be drawn on the next business day at the same time.

  11. Prize winners: The first five (5) valid entries drawn for each Promo Week will win the prizes subject to those entrants: (1), producing to the Promoter when requested photo identification or other identification acceptable to the Promoter which confirms that the entrant is over 18 years of age; and (2), completing a statutory declaration signed by a Justice of the Peace confirming details about the entrant and their entry. The Promoter's decision as to the result of the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

  12. Notification to prize winners: The Promoter will attempt to contact prize winners by mail, telephone, email or other means within 7 days after the draw. The Promoter may also announce or publish the initials and suburb or town of the prize winners in any media, including the Promoter's website. 

  13. Delivery of Prizes: The prize will be delivered to the prize winners. Alternatively a prize winner may elect to collect their prize from the Promoter but that election must be made at the time the prize winner is notified of their win. 

  14. No right to transfer prize: The right to a prize is not transferable or assignable to another person.

  15. Validity of entries: The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of an entry or disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. The decision to verify, validate, include or disqualify an entry is in the Promoter's absolute discretion. 

  16. Computer system issues: No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer system, software or Internet difficulties, including any damage to an entrant's computer, resulting from participation in the promotion. Any cost associated with accessing or submitting an entry are the entrant's responsibility. 

  17. Liability: The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in relation to the promotion or a prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 

  18. Force Majeure: If the Promoter is prevented from or delayed in performing an obligation by Force Majeure then the obligation is suspended during, but for no longer than, the period the Force Majeure continues and any further period that is reasonable in the circumstances. "Force Majeure" means an event beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, which occurs without the fault or negligence of the Promoter. 

  19. Delay or modification to conduct of the promotion: Subject to obtaining the approval from the regulator (if applicable), the Promoter reserves the right to delay or modify any aspect of this promotion if for any reason it is not capable of running as planned (including without limitation, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, fraud, technical failures, power failures, data extraction issues or due to any other causes unforeseen or beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion) but only to the extent necessary to overcome the issue that is affecting the running of the promotion as planned. 

  20. Privacy: The Promoter Group is authorised to collect certain personal information for the purpose of entry into the promotion under the Lotteries Rule 2010. By participating in the promotion, an entrant authorises the Promoter Group, and contractors and agents of the Promoter Group, to access, collect and use the personal information collected about the entrant, and disclose personal information about the entrant, to the Promoter Group and its contractors and agents (which may include disclosure to financial institutions, lawyers, auditors, IT service providers, mail service providers, marketing service providers, market research companies, selling agents) and gaming and other regulators, for the purposes of (i) conducting the promotion and (ii) providing the entrant with information about products and services of the Promoter Group. Such information may be provided electronically, or by contacting the entrant by telephone or other means, until such time as the entrant asks the Promoter not to provide further information. A prize winner may be asked by the Promoter to participate in publicity associated with the promotion. The prize winner will have the right to elect whether or not to participate in that publicity. 

  21. Failure to provide personal information: If an entrant does not provide the personal information requested, the entrant cannot participate in the promotion and will not receive information about products and services of the Promoter Group.
