How we operate

We operate some of our games as part of the Australian Lottery Bloc.

The Australian Lottery Bloc comprises of Golden Casket Lottery Corporation Limited, Lotterywest (Lotteries Commission of Western Australia), New South Wales Lotteries Corporation Pty Limited, Lotteries Commission of South Australia, Tattersall's Sweeps Pty Ltd and Tatts NT Lotteries Pty Ltd and is committed to providing players with the very best lottery games and level of service delivered with the highest standards of integrity and credibility.

The lottery blocs are further committed to optimising and balancing returns to all stakeholders within a social responsible framework and ensuring the Australian lottery industry is recognised as one of the best in the world.

The global authority on lotteries, the World Lottery Association (WLA), is a member-based organisation committed to supporting its members to achieve the highest standards of corporate responsibility and responsible gambling principles. At The Lott, Australia’s Official Lotteries, we have adopted these principles and achieved the WLA’s highest level of certification (Level 4). 

Responsible gambling is not a new concept to us and we continue to ensure responsible practices are integrated into day-to-day activities so that our lottery games are operated, marketed and sold in a socially responsible manner. To maintain this accreditation, The Lott must demonstrate, with evidence, our commitment to the continuous improvement of our responsible gambling practices.
