How to Play Lotto Strike

What is Lotto Strike?

Lotto Strike is an add-on game that can only be played when you buy an entry in a Lotto draw on Monday, Wednesday or Saturday. The object of the game is to correctly select, in the exact order drawn, the first 4 Lotto numbers in the Lotto draw you purchased your Lotto Strike entry with.

How do I win Lotto Strike?

If you match 4 balls correctly, you can strike it rich with a minimum prize of $100,000 or more when Lotto Strike jackpots! And if you match just 1, 2, or 3 of the first 4 Lotto balls, in exactly the same order drawn, you'll also be a winner.

There are 4 prize divisions in Lotto Strike. To win the top prize (Division 1 – Strike 4) your entry needs to match all 4 winning numbers in a single game in the exact same order as the first 4 winning numbers drawn in the corresponding Lotto draw.

See our How to Win section for more information on how you can increase your chance of winning.

When does the Lotto Strike draw close?

Lotto Strike closes at 7:30pm AEST each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night. The latest results for most of our games are generally available on the day of draw by 9:00pm (AEST). Dividends for each game are updated following the draw and are generally available on the morning following the draw.

Where can I play Lotto Strike?

You can purchase your Lotto Strike entry in-store or online.

How do I play Lotto Strike?

The first step to playing Lotto Strike is deciding if you want to play a QuickPick or a Marked Entry.

  • A QuickPick is the easiest way to play, where the number of games you play is fixed and your numbers are randomly generated for you.
  • A Marked Entry lets you choose how many games you would like to play, plus you can select the numbers that are meaningful to you, and even save them as a Favourite for next time. You can play up to 10 games by marking a coupon in-store, or up to 50 games when creating your own entry online.

Once you've decided which way to play, you can add more to your Lotto Strike entry for more chances to win!

  • A Boxed entry gives you 24 combinations of your 4 numbers, which means that your 4 numbers can be drawn in any order within the first 4 Lotto balls. Just like a System Entry, Boxed Entries give you more chances to win multiple prize divisions.

If you're planning a holiday or won't be able to make it to your local store, you can purchase an entry into an Advance draw, or play your entry across multiple draws with a Multi-Week entry
