Bexley man to ditch coach for business class bliss after $600,000 Lotto Strike loot
A Bexley man can’t wait to spread his wings in the lap of luxury and only fly business class from here on out after landing a $600,000 win in the weekend’s Lotto Strike draw.
The southern Sydney resident held the only division one winning entry in Lotto Strike draw 5442, drawn Saturday 25 May 2024 and took home a total prize of $606,230.10.
The New South Welshman discovered his newfound fortune straight after the draw on Saturday night.
“Thank you so much,” he laughed.
“It was late on Saturday night, and I decided to check my ticket straight after the draw, which was a mistake because I struggled to go to sleep.
“But don’t get me wrong, finding out about the win was amazing.
“I rang my partner and my mum straight away and told them the news. We can’t believe it.
“I buy a ticket every week into the Lotto Strike draws. It’s something I like to treat myself to.
“This will really help my future.
“I want to use the win wisely and really think ahead. I want to set myself up for retirement and make it an investment.
“I will have a bit of fun and go on some holidays. I’ve been through south-east Asia so maybe it’s time to go to America for a change.
“We’ll be flying business class for sure!”
His winning 3-game QuickPick was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
