A Charlestown woman has vowed to live life to the fullest and soak up the little things after discovering she’d won $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
 
The Newcastle local held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10915, drawn Tuesday 14 January 2025 and pocketed a total prize of $100,000.
 
“What! I can’t believe it!” she cried.
 
“I never thought I’d win anything like this.
 
“I can’t hold back the tears. This means so much.
 
“I’m shaking like crazy.
 
“I’m home alone with my two dogs right now.
 
“I’ve got to ring my husband and tell him the news.
 
“I can’t wait to brighten his day with the good news.
 
“I was having a great morning before you called, and this has just topped it off.
 
“We’re going to do all the little things now. Go out for dinner, the movies and even coffee.
 
“All the little things we use to sacrifice, we’ll start to do more. I guess you could say we’ll live life to the fullest.”
 
Her winning entry of 10 random numbers was purchased at Nextra Kotara, Shop 133, Garden City Westfield, Ground Floor, Cnr Park Ave & Northcott Dr, Kotara.
 
Nextra Kotara manager Lori Hofman shared she was over the moon to hear her outlet had sold a 1st Prize winning entry worth $100,000.
 
“It feels surreal to hear we’ve sold another major lottery prize,” she said.
 
“It was only two weeks ago that we sold a division one winning ticket in Saturday Lotto.
 
“After owning our outlet for over 20 years, we’ve seen a few notable wins, but nothing like the two we’ve had in the past two weeks.
 
“Let’s hope the winning tickets keep coming!
 
“We wish our winner all the best and hope they’re as excited about their win as we are.”
