A Bundall man’s Monday was happily interrupted by the revelation he’d won more than $100,000 win in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The Queenslander won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10792, drawn Monday 28 August 2023.

In addition to his $100,000 bounty, the winning man’s entry also scored a consolation prize of $1,000, bolstering his total windfall to $101,000.

When we reached out to the winning man to reveal his newfound fortune he was busy at work and completely oblivious to scoring a major lottery prize.

“Wow. I can hardly speak!” he exclaimed.

“That’s outstanding! This is the biggest prize I have ever won!

“I almost wasn’t going to answer your call but I’m so glad I did.

“I can’t wait to celebrate with my family. I don’t know if they will believe me though!”

His winning entry of two random numbers was purchased at Benowa Gardens Newsagency, Shop 39, Ashmore Road, Benowa.

Benowa Gardens Newsagency owner Andrew McTaggart said he was overjoyed to hear his outlet had sold a 1st prize winning ticket to a local customer.
