An Auchenflower man has wrapped up his gym session this morning to the heart-pounding surprise he’d won $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries draw.
 
The Brisbane resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10880 drawn Friday 4 October 2024 and looks forward to a total prize of $100,000.
 
When speaking with us the stunned man admitted he was lost for words and needed to sit down to process the marvellous news.
 
“I feel a bit out of breath right now,” he laughed.
 
“I’ve just been at the gym for two hours, and I can’t tell if it was the resistance from my workout or you telling me I just won $100,000 that’s knocked the wind out of me.

“I’m lost for words. My heart is beating so fast and I’m starting to shake.

“I’m very happy with that.

“This couldn’t have come at a better time, to be honest.
 
“I went to the dentist yesterday and they told me I need all this work done. This win will alleviate the stress of the costs.
 
“It’s a great boost to have right now.
 
“I need to go sit down for the news to sink in.”
