A Davoren Park dad’s longstanding dream to build a new home for his family will become a reality in 2025 thanks to his Set for Life prize of $20,000 a month for 20 years.
 
The South Australian held the only division one winning entry in Set for Life draw 3437 on Thursday 2 January 2025. 
 
“It’s life-changing!” the man declared.
 
“I’ve got a young family, and this will help us build a house. I’ve always wanted to build a nice family home for us.
 
“It just means the world to my family and will really set us up for the future.
 
“I’m a bit tired today as I didn’t sleep much last night.
 
“I’m a regular Set for Life player, and I check my ticket after each night’s draw.
 
“I’ve had a few little wins recently and then the big one last night.
 
“I looked at my ticket last night, saw I had the numbers and showed my wife, but she was saying, ‘no we didn’t, no we didn’t’.
 
“All night we were literally going, ‘no we didn’t, no we didn’t’.
 
“It’s unbelievable!”
 
The man’s winning 2-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
