Doug here ready to celebrate another 20K day. 

Today 79 Set for Life division one winners will be receiving their next $20,000 prize instalment – how great is that! 

Since we last checked in, a Burraneer mum saw herself become Set for Life overnight.

When we called the Sydney woman the day after the draw, she had no idea her life had changed forever. 

“When you called me before, I was convinced you were scamming me. But then I checked my ticket online and I saw it was true!” she told us. 

The surprised winner had many plans for her day, but shared she would cancel them all and just let the news of her incredible win sink in. 

As for what she planned to do with her windfall, the mum said she would be renovating her home. 

Between 1 July 2020 and 30th June 2021, we broke the news to 16 players that they would be receiving $20,000 a month for 20 years and the thrilled Burraneer mum is one of three winners from New South Wales in this time.  

There were also three division one winners from Queensland, one from South Australia, two from Western Australia and two from the ACT. Victoria saw the most Set for Life division one winners in the 2021 financial year with a total of five.  

We can’t wait to see how many division one winners Set for Life will see this new financial year.
