It’s the 15th of the month which means we’re back celebrating our favourite day — $20K Day! It’s the day when all our Set for Life division one winners receive their monthly prize payment of $20,000.

But did you know it’s also the day our Set for Life division two winners have $5K headed their way?

This month marks two years since we first introduced our shiny division two prize of $5,000 a month for a year. If you ask me, a division two win has never been so good.

Almost 500 Aussies have scored this incredible prize, meaning more people enjoy winning on replay than ever before.

We reached out to some of these stoked division two winners to find out what it’s like to receive $5,000 every month for a year.

One Victorian woman scored the division two prize in August last year and is now over halfway through her year of prize payments.

“I remember logging in to my account and seeing the prize. It took a few moments to register what division two meant. Once my brain registered $5,000 a month for a year, I couldn’t stop smiling,” she said.

“The 15th is now my favourite day of the month. It’s like getting another pay packet, a bigger pay packet at that!

“I got solar panels for my house. I’d wanted to do that for a while to go more green for the environment. So, it was great to be able to do that.”

Another of our division two winners explained how she snagged division two on the very first Set for Life ticket she’d ever bought.

“We’ve never won anything like it before — nothing even close,” she said.

“It was the first ticket I’d ever bought, so I was a bit unsure how it all worked. I thought I’d only won $2,000 at first as it was very early in the morning when I checked. But my partner pointed out our good fortune.

“Our windfall is going towards a house in France, which has been a long-held dream of ours. This prize goes a long way to making it a reality.”

We’ve also had some great moments recently from Aussies who’ve had all those winning numbers and have taken out a massive $20,000 a month for 20 years!

In the space of one week, a Port Adelaide woman and a Sandgate player both became Set for Life. There are now 96 Set for Life division one winners nationally and five division one winners so far this calendar year.
