Bomaderry woman’s disbelief turns into delight as $100,000 Lucky Lotteries windfall is confirmed
A Bomaderry woman has revealed she initially thought she was being tricked after discovering she had bagged $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries win.
The New South Wales resident scored the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10836, drawn Monday 26 February 2024.
“Thank you! Thank you!” she cheered when we called to reveal the incredible news.
“I’m completely stoked. I just can’t believe it.
“I treat myself to a ticket each week, and I always hope I’ll be the lucky winner.
“When I checked my ticket, I thought I was being tricked. To hear it from you and to know it’s truly real is just wonderful.
“I told my daughter, and she kept asking, ‘Are you sure? Are you sure?’.
“She’s here with me now. At last, I can say, ‘Yes I’m most definitely sure!’.
Amidst the excitement when speaking to an official from The Lott, the winning woman explained exactly how she would use her newfound treasure.
“It’ll be a great help to pay my house off!” she said.
“Also, my daughter and I can go out for dinner tonight and celebrate!
“Thank you again.”
Her winning entry of five random numbers was purchased from Bomaderry Newsagency, 59 Meroo St, Bomaderry.
Bomaderry Newsagency owner Sue Lees said she and the team were thrilled to have sold a 1st Prize-winning ticket.
“How exciting! This is the third Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize we’ve sold!
“We’re over the moon for our winner. She came in yesterday and we knew something was up when I scanned the ticket because it didn’t say the prize amount.
“She’s a regular and so sweet! We’re thrilled for her.
“Congratulations to her and thank you to all our amazing customers for the ongoing support.”
