Retirement for an Inverell couple might come sooner than expected after they nabbed a $100,000 prize in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The happy couple held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10822, drawn 8 January 2024. In addition to the $100,000 prize, the couple’s entry also won a $2,000 consolation prize.

“Thank you!” the winning wife exclaimed.

“I’m a regular player and have been for years.

“But this is the first big one! I’ve had free tickets and $50 wins here and there, but nothing like this.

“My husband and I might be able to retire a little earlier.

“We only found out when we got a letter from The Lott urging us to check our ticket. I was so nervous to check it in case it wasn’t true.

“It’s a great way to start 2024!”

The winning entry of 10 consecutive numbers was purchased at Inverell Newsagency, 44 Otho Street, Inverell.

Inverell Newsagency owner Anthony Michael said he was thrilled to see another local player win big.
