Plumpton woman wins $1.8 million in Lotto Strike!
A woman from Plumpton has struck it ‘lucky’ in lotto after her Lotto Strike entry matched all four ball numbers in the exact order they were drawn last night - winning her the Lotto Strike jackpot of more than $1.8 million!
Her 10-game marked Lotto Strike entry which she added on to her Wednesday Lotto entry in last night’s draw, was an exact match to the winning numbers of 30, then 32, then 15 and finally 6.
The happy woman was delighted to strike it rich, winning the entire Lotto Strike jackpot prize worth $1,866,332.80.
“I’m shaking! Wow! Wow! I got four strikes!” the woman exclaimed.
“I’ve been playing Lotto Strike since it started. And these are my original numbers that I started with and marked on the coupon, which must have been 13 or 14 years ago. I like it because it’s an extra chance of winning, so why not?
“I’ve matched some of the numbers before and won smaller prizes, I’ve gotten two numbers in a row quite often. A few years back we had all four numbers in the same game but they were all in different spots!
“I currently rent so now I’ll be able to buy a home. It’s going to an awesome Christmas!
“Now I can go travelling and help out my kids as well.”
The winning woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning 10-game marked Lotto Strike entry from Plumpton Marketplace Newsagency, Shop T19 in Plumpton Marketplace, corner of Hyatts and Jersey Roads in Plumpton.
It’s the third division one winning ticket the newsagency has sold in 2016 alone.
Raafat Sabri is the owner of Plumpton Marketplace Newsagency and said he was feeling very lucky to have had such a good winning streak this year.
“It’s incredible – we now have sold three division one winning tickets this year and two of them happened in the same month!” Mr Sabri exclaimed.
“First a Pensioner couple won more than $569,000 in Saturday Lotto in early July and then we set up a winning store syndicate in the July Superdraw with 37 of our customers who sharing in a $1.4 million division one prize!
“Now another one of our customers has struck it lucky with a $1.8 million prize in Lotto Strike. What a wonderful winning streak!
“We may even be lucky enough to sell another division one winning ticket before the year is out, maybe even in the $30 Million Megadraw on New Year’s Eve!”
The winning numbers in Lotto Strike draw 4268 on Wednesday 23 November 2016 were 30, 32, 15 and 6. Lotto Strike is an add-on game that is played with Monday, Wednesday and Saturday Lotto and can be played for as little as $1.10.
Lotto Strike’s division one prize is won by selecting the first four Lotto numbers in the exact order they are drawn in the Lotto draw.
If you match just one, two or three of the first four Lotto balls, in exactly the same order drawn, you’ll also win a prize. If no one picks all four winning numbers in the draw, the Lotto Strike Jackpot prize pool will jackpot to the next draw.
