Forget upgrading to a new house – a first division Lotto Strike winner said she’ll be happy with just a new bathroom.

A family from Sydney’s southern suburbs is celebrating after discovering their entry in last night’s Lotto Strike draw scored a first division prize worth $550,647.75.

“I’ve been waiting for your call!” one of the excited winners declared.

“I looked up the Lotto Strike results on the internet last night and I recognised our numbers straight away. I’ve been playing those special birthday and anniversary numbers for more years than I can remember! 

“I still can’t believe it. We’re pensioners and our bathroom is more than 70 years old! We’ve been trying to work out how we could afford to fix it up. Now that we’ve won this prize money, we’ll finally be able to have a separate shower in our bathroom!”

The winning Lotto Strike QuickPick entry was purchased from Ramsgate Beach Newsagency, Shop 2, 185 Ramsgate Road in Ramsgate. 

Lotto Strike is an add-on game that is played with Monday, Wednesday and Saturday Lotto and can be played for as little as $1.10.

Lotto Strike’s division one prize is won by selecting the first four Lotto numbers in drawn order. The division one prize jackpots to the following Lotto draw if there are no division one winners. 

The winning numbers in Lotto Strike draw 4133 on Wednesday 13 January 2016 were 11, 13, 15 and 19.
