A Campbelltown shopper has scored a million-dollar Lotto Strike division one win – less than seven months after the last Lotto Strike division one win landed in the city.

The Campbelltown entry was the only division one winning entry in Lotto Strike draw 4494 on Saturday 5 May 2018 and takes home the entire division one prize of $1,042,569.00

But while the winning entry is registered, NSW Lotteries officials have been unable to contact the ticketholder on the details provided on their Players Club card.

The winning entry was purchased from Queen Street Newsagency & TSG, Shop 4, 138 Queen Street, Campbelltown.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Matt Hart said he was eager to confirm the dream-come-true news with the region’s latest Lotto Strike division one winner.

“There’s more than one million reasons why Lotto Strike players should check their tickets today! Imagine how your plans for the weeks, months and years ahead may change once you discover you are now a millionaire!” he said.

“You may not think it’s possible that you could be the division one winner we’re trying to contact, but if you purchased an entry in Saturday’s Lotto Strike draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!

“We’re urging all players to check their entries as soon as possible and if you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket to contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

Campbelltown’s last Lotto Strike division one winner

Campbelltown is no stranger to Lotto Strike division one wins. In October last year, a Campbelltown man declared he would plan the “most beautiful wedding anniversary ever” after winning more than $539,000.

At the time, the man shared that he and his wife were celebrating several decades of happy marriage, with the Lotto Strike division one win making the occasion extra special.

“It will be the most beautiful wedding anniversary my wife and I have ever had. My wife is sitting here with her mouth open wondering what’s going on!,” he said when his win was confirmed.

“It’s been a difficult year, but I tell you what this is the best thing that could have ever happened to us.  It’s wonderful news!”

The winning numbers in Lotto Strike draw 4494 on Saturday 5 May 2018 were 34, 28, 22 and 42.

Lotto Strike is an add-on game that is played with Monday, Wednesday and Saturday Lotto and can be played for as little as $1.10.

Lotto Strike’s division one prize is won by selecting the first four Lotto numbers in the exact order they are drawn in the Lotto draw.

If you match just one, two or three of the first four Lotto balls, in exactly the same order drawn, you’ll also win a prize. If no one picks all four winning numbers in the draw, the Lotto Strike Jackpot prize pool will jackpot to the next draw.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 356 so far this financial year, including 108 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
