Retirement plans are suddenly looking up for a Lennox Head man whose weekly Lotto Strike ritual has delivered him a $420,000 win. 

The New South Wales player held the only division one winning entry in Lotto Strike draw 4961, drawn Wednesday 28 April March 2021 and takes home the entire division one prize of $420,900.10. 

Confirming his win with us this morning, the Lennox Head local said he’d been patiently waiting for this moment. 

“It’s very good!” he laughed. 

“I’ve played Lotto Strike for a long time. I’m thrilled this has finally happened. 

“It’s certainly been a long time in the making. 

“I’m very happy about it!” 

When asked how he planned to enjoy his Lotto Strike fortune, he explained it had arrived at the perfect moment in his life. 

“I’m just about to retire so it is very good timing,” he said. 

“This will certainly mean that I can enjoy a better retirement without having to stress about finances.” 

The thrilled player bought his winning marked 1-game entry at Lennox Head Newsagency, Shop 7, 80-84 Ballina Street, Lennox Head.
