A Bondi woman has woken up feeling like she’s taken centre stage after scooping a spectacular $298,000 division one win in last night’s Lotto Strike draw.

The Sydney resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Lotto Strike, draw 5269 drawn Monday 17 April 2023 and took home a total division one prize of $298,042.50.

“Have I won $298,000?!” she questioned.

“I’m very excited!

“I received an email this morning notifying me to contact The Lott about a potential major lottery prize. I thought it was some sort of joke, and I would be screaming at you on the phone!

“I’m glad to know that I’ve actually won division one!

“Oh man! I’m going to the opera tonight and I should’ve bought better tickets!

“There’s no doubt I’ll be celebrating at the show tonight!”

With more than $298,000 about to boost her bank account, the New South Wales player immediately knew what she’d do with her prize.

“This will go towards my mortgage and will let me cut my hours a bit!” she shared.

“I can work less – woo hoo!”

Her winning two-game QuickPick was purchased at Bondi Junction Newsagency & Internet Café, Shop 2, 191 – 195 Oxford Street, Bondi Junction.

The winning numbers in Lotto Strike draw 5269 on Monday 17 April 2023 were 4, 21, 45 and 42.
