A Campbelltown man is planning the “most beautiful wedding anniversary ever” with his wife after this morning’s shock revelation he had won division one in the weekend’s Lotto Strike draw.
 
The jubilant retiree and happy husband, who regularly adds a Lotto Strike game to his Lotto entries for an extra chance to win, was the only division one winner of Lotto Strike draw 4413 on Saturday 28 October 2017.  He takes home a prize of $539,650.85.
 
A NSW Lotteries spokesperson broke the news of the windfall to the man first thing this morning.
 
“Holey moley! I love you!” the winner laughed.
 
“Oh my god! That’s absolutely astounding! Goodness gracious me. What a wonderful bloody bit of news that is!”
 
The man shared that he and his wife were celebrating several decades of happy marriage this week, with the Lotto Strike win making the occasion extra special.

“It will be the most beautiful wedding anniversary my wife and I have ever had. My wife is sitting here with her mouth open wondering what’s going on!,” he said.

“It’s been a difficult year, but I tell you what this is the best thing that could have ever happened to us.  It’s wonderful news!”
 
“I look forward to seeing the money in my account. I’ll be spending the next 12 months looking for a beautiful present for my wife for next year’s anniversary.  It will be a celebration of our life together!”
 
The man’s winning 1-game Lotto Strike entry was from The Mall Newsagency, Shop 32, Upper Level, Campbelltown Mall, Campbelltown.
 
The Mall Newsagency owner Joe Abela said he was celebrating selling a division one winning Lotto Strike entry.
 
“It’s beautiful.  I saw we had sold a winning entry yesterday morning and I couldn’t wait to ring my wife.  Until now, Lotto Strike was the only game I hadn’t sold a division one winning ticket for during my time as a newsagent,” he said.
 
“We’ve had this outlet since 2006 and we’ve now sold a Saturday Lotto, Powerball and Lotto Strike division one winning entry.
 
“It’s fabulous!  We’re thrilled.  It’s going to change the winner’s life!  What a life now!  Good luck to them!”
 
The winning numbers in Lotto Strike draw 4372 on Saturday 28 October 2017 were 13, 38, 17 and 40.
 
Lotto Strike is an add-on game that is played with Monday, Wednesday and Saturday Lotto and can be played for as little as $1.10.
 
Lotto Strike’s division one prize is won by selecting the first four Lotto numbers in the exact order they are drawn in the Lotto draw.
 
If you match just one, two or three of the first four Lotto balls, in exactly the same order drawn, you’ll also win a prize. If no one picks all four winning numbers in the draw, the Lotto Strike Jackpot prize pool will jackpot to the next draw.
 
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 340 so far this calendar year, including 104 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
