Oz Lotto's Prize Boost

 



Oz Lotto Prize Boost are special events that will happen across the year.

Prize Boost could increase the prize amount you’ll win in a normal draw. The boost will apply to Divisions 2 to 7 and will happen regardless of whether Division 1 is won or not.

So, if you win, you could win big! It’s the extra sauce on your sausage roll. Keep an eye out for when they are announced!

You can purchase a ticket and join up, download the app or find your nearest outlet.

 

 

How much could I win with Prize Boost?


While Prize Boost will vary from event to event, check out the table below to see an example of how much more you could score on a $5M jackpot. Not only will winners get the standard prize money on offer for their division, but a Prize Boost on top of this!

In this example of a $5M jackpot draw there is a 30% boost to divisional prizes. The Prize Boost amount is shared between Divisions 2 to 7. Prizes shown are indicative only and are based on modelled averages for a $5M jackpot.

The chances of winning division one in Oz Lotto Prize Boost event, based on one standard game, is 1 in 62,891,499. This is the same as a standard Oz Lotto draw.
 

Do Oz Lotto Prize Boost events cost more to play?

No, there is no change in the cost of entry for an Oz Lotto Prize Boost event. One standard game starts from $1.50.
 

Oz Lotto Prize Divisions


Oz Lotto has 7 prize divisions. The winning combinations and odds of winning each Oz Lotto prize division (based on 1 standard game) are shown under winning combinations below.

Oz Lotto Prize Boost applies to prize Divisions 2 to 7 (excludes Division 1) and will be applied during Prize Boost event draws whether the jackpot is won or not.

 


Oz Lotto Draw Time


Oz Lotto's Prize Boost draws close as per a regular Oz Lotto draw, Tuesday night at 7:30pm (AEST). The draw takes place shortly after.

The latest results for most of our games are generally available on the day of draw by 9:00pm (AEST).

Dividends for each game are updated following the draw and are generally available on the morning following the draw.

Oz Lotto Prize Boost Winners


The first ever Oz Lotto Prize Boost event was a $5 million draw on Tuesday 19 July, 2022 (Draw 1483) and resulted in 320,889 winning entries across Divisions 2-7 scoring a boosted prize! Seven lucky Division 2 winners each scored a 30% boosted prize of over $36,000! 

The winning numbers for Draw 1483 were 21, 12, 34, 11, 7, 9, 28 and the three supplemetary numbers were 16, 2 and 4. With no Division 1 winners, the draw jackpotted to Draw 1484.

How to play Oz Lotto's Prize Boost

Prize Boost is a special Oz Lotto event which runs as a regular Oz Lotto draw, but you could score a boost to prize Divisions 2 to 7! To play a standard entry you need to select 7 numbers (from 1 to 47) in each game panel.

 



Just like playing a regular Oz Lotto draw, the first step to playing Oz Lotto's Prize Boost is deciding if you want to play a QuickPick or a Marked Entry.

  • A QuickPick is the easiest way to play, where the number of games you play is fixed and your numbers are randomly generated for you.
  • A Marked entry lets you choose how many games you would like to play, plus you can select the numbers that are meaningful to you, and even save them as a Favourite for next time. You can play up to 18 games by marking a coupon in-store, or up to 50 games when creating your own entry online.
     

 

Once you've decided which way to play, you could try a System or Pick for your Oz Lotto Prize Boost entry for more chances to win!

  • A System entry allows you to pick more numbers from the barrel of 1 to 47. You can pick from 7 to 20 numbers, giving you more chances to win multiple prize divisions. Learn more about System entries.
  • A Pick entry guarantees you either 1 or 2 winning numbers. Learn more about Pick entries.
     

 

You can also choose how long you want to play for.

  • If you're planning a holiday or won't be able to make it to your local store, you can purchase an entry into an Advance draw, or play your entry across multiple draws with a Multi-Week entry.
  • If you play online you can subscribe to automatically play into every Oz Lotto draw or at a certain Oz Lotto jackpot level.
