It’s not just Santa that’s in the business of granting wishes! Powerball and Saturday Lotto have been busy making dreams come true this week, but there’s still more chances for a Christmas win to come!

$30 million Powerball prize shared by winning syndicate and Clarence Valley man

There were two division one winning entries in Thursday night’s $30 million Powerball draw, with each division one winning entry scoring $15 million.

A syndicate of four Berwick players held the first entry and will share their slice of the division one pie, pocketing $3.7 million each.

A Clarence Valley man held the second entry and has had his workday upended by the revelation he’s now $15 million richer.

“Holy moly!” he exclaimed when we confirmed his prize.

“Oh man! If you could reach through the phone and punch me so I know I’m not dreaming, that would be great.

“Mate, I’m going to retire. I’ve been working hard, and I want to spend more time with the family.

“I’ve got to try and concentrate at work today, but I don’t know how!”

Generous Fitzgibbon man bags $1 million Saturday Lotto win

A Fitzgibbon man and his wife had a sleepless night, unsure if they had dreamed their million-dollar Saturday Gold Lotto win.

“I checked my tickets on the app right after the draw and I couldn’t believe my eyes,” the winning man said.

“My wife was falling asleep and I said to her, ‘Quick, sit up’. She was like, ‘What’s going on?’. Then I told her, ‘We just won division one!’.

“We honestly thought we were in a dream. I couldn’t sleep at all.”

“We’re going to send a couple of family members on an overseas holiday and buy a car for another one,” he said.

$989,000 TattsLotto triumph unlocks door to dream home

A Kangaroo Flat woman also had a restless night after she checked her TattsLotto ticket right before bed. The long-time player was shocked to see her $989,000 win and insisted it would take her some time to wrap her head around it.

“It flipped my night completely upside down. I was in so much shock that I couldn’t sleep at all,” she said.

“I rang my daughter immediately and she thought it was a scam!

“I’ve been renting for a very long time and have always wanted to buy a house. It will be the first thing I’ll do with the prize!”
A merry Christmas for a merry band of 10 Bendigo players

Just down the road, a merry band of ten Bendigo syndicate members also shared more than $989,000 in TattsLotto.

Shares into the winning syndicate were purchased at White Hills Amcal Pharmacy, 499 Napier Street, Bendigo and owner Sanjay Jhaveri said he and his team were on cloud nine.

“It’s such wonderful news, so exciting. It’s been a long time coming since we’ve sold a division one winning entry and we’re so pleased we were able to fit one in right before Christmas,” he said.

“This syndicate has been ongoing every Saturday and it’s called ‘Saturday TattsLotto’ – very straight to the point, and we’re glad the 10 customers who purchased shares won big with it!

“Congratulations to all the division one winning syndicate members and we wish them all the best with their prize. Christmas will be extraordinary for all of them, and their wish lists will be sorted!”

There’s still plenty of chances for your Christmas wishes to come true. Don’t miss Oz Lotto’s $70 million draw (1557) on Tuesday 19 December! We’d love to be calling you with some winning news. Good luck!
