“Yee-haw! Happy days!” Leanyer couple kiss mortgage goodbye with $411,000 TattsLotto win
A Leanyer couple can look forward to opening the door to their mortgage-free home after snaring more than $411,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The top end residents held one of the 13 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4447, drawn Saturday 2 March 2024 and took home a total prize of $411,699.30.
The Northern Territory duo were quick to commemorate their division one win over the weekend – inviting their nearest and dearest out to the local club for celebratory drinks.
“Yee-haw!” the merry husband exclaimed.
“Happy days! How good is that!
“I’ve been playing these same set of numbers for 40 years. They’re a bunch of birthdates.
“I was lying in bed on Saturday night and before I fell asleep, I decided to check the ticket. I couldn’t believe it.
“Have we celebrated yet? On Sunday we did, big time! I called my mates in the morning, and we decided to go to the local club to celebrate.
“We’ll probably use the prize to pay off the house mortgage. It will be a huge help.
“You’re a champion! Thanks for the call!”
Their winning marked System 9 entry was purchased at Leanyer Newsagency, Shop 18, Hibiscus Shoppingtown, Cnr Leanyer Drive and Vanderlin Drive, Leanyer.
The Leanyer Newsgency team were thrilled to have sold another division one winning entry to one of their customers. They last sold a division one winning entry in November 2023.
