Braybrook man prepares to upgrade abode with $400,000 TattsLotto win
A Braybrook man is bubbling with excitement as he envisions trading in his old digs for a shiny new house after landing more than $400,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Victorian held one of the 13 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4509, drawn Saturday 5 October 2024 and looks forward to a total prize of $401,232.17.
The winning entry was unregistered, which means we had no way of contacting the ticketholder and had to wait for them to check their ticket.
The winning man discovered his newfound treasure earlier in the week but took a few days to process the winning news and come forward.
“Thank you very much!”
“You’ve put a smile on my face.
“I found out about the win earlier this week – on Monday.
“That’s really life-changing for me. It will help me buy a house and say goodbye to renting.
“I’ll also buy some new furniture to put in the house, and even a new car!
“So exciting.”
His winning entry was purchased at Braybrook News & Lotto, 127 South Road, Braybrook.
Braybrook News & Lotto store manager Andy Pham said he was thrilled to hear that he sold a division one winning ticket to one of their customers.
“No doubt, the customer was over the moon when they discovered their win! It really is a dream come true! We cannot wait to share the good news with many of our customers,” he said.
“The last time we sold an individual division one winning entry was about three years ago.
“We’re super excited for our winning customer, and the excitement and joy this brings them. This win brings the possibility of great things they can do for themselves, their children, family, and the community.
“We look forward to selling many more division one winning entries at our outlet. We welcome existing and new customers to pop into Braybrook News & Lotto.”
