Clean up in aisle one! Wodonga man discovers $1 million TattsLotto prize while at the supermarket
A Wodonga man bagged more than milk and bread when he popped into a local supermarket yesterday and left with the realisation he’d become a millionaire in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Victorian held one of the five division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4491 on Saturday 3 August 2024. Each division one winning entry pocketed $1,044,169.77.
“I just bloody checked it! What the f***?!” the man exclaimed when we called to confirm his prize.
“That’s brilliant. I’m just in the supermarket walking up and down the aisles.
“You’ve turned my life upside down. I’m just over the moon.
“I’ve spoken to my family and they were screaming down the phone.
“This is the best call I’ve ever had. That’s awesome! That’s so good!
“I’m so happy. For the first time in my life, I’m going to be debt-free. I’m going to buy myself a home and be debt-free.
“This is a call I never thought I’d hear in my lifetime!”
The man’s winning 18-game QuickPick entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
