A Kadina man revealed that his recent $680,000 Saturday X Lotto win will allow him to embrace a more comfortable lifestyle, marking a welcome change after navigating through some challenging times.
 
The Yorke Peninsula man held one of the eight division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4503, drawn Saturday 14 September 2024, and looks forward to a total prize of $660,110.33.
 
So far in 2024, there have been six major winning entries in the Yorke and mid North region, collectively taking home more than $5.61 million in prize money. 
 
It was a Sunday to remember for the South Australian as he discovered his newfound treasure in the late afternoon, sending him into a state of shock.
 
“Thank you very much!” he cheered. 

“I couldn’t believe it. I was actually on my phone yesterday afternoon and I thought I’d check my ticket.

“I received an email from The Lott to let me know that I’m a winner, and I just thought to myself, ‘Oh yeah. I’ve probably won division three or four.’

“I spent about five minutes trying to figure out how much I’d won and when I eventually realised, I was in complete disbelief.

“I’ve been playing the same numbers every week; they’re very special to me.
 
“This will make life so much easier. I’ve been through some tough times recently, and it’s come at the most perfect time.

“It will help my family so much.
 
“This was a magnificent phone call!”
 
His winning 14-game QuickPick was purchased at Royal Exchange Hotel, 7 Digby Street, Kadina.
 
Royal Exchange Hotel publican Janine Pomery said she was so thrilled to hear her team had sold a division one winning entry and that they were all extremely excited for the winner.
