An Oakleigh man has found himself thrown into a surreal state of dreamy disbelief and questioning his reality after discovering his ticket scored more than $690,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The victorious Victorian held one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4495, drawn Saturday 17 August 2024 and pocketed a total division one prize of $697,041.32
“Thank you so much!” the gleeful man cheered when speaking to us.
“I’m shocked. I’m just really shocked.
“I checked my ticket last night and almost had a heart attack. I thought I was going to have to call triple zero.
“My family was with me, and we were speechless.
“I’ve barely been able to sleep. I kept waking up throughout the night thinking it was all a dream but then it’d hit me that it’s really real.
“I keep getting confused. Even now it feels like I’m stuck in a dream!
“Excuse my French, but we’ve had a really s*** year so this is truly incredible.
“My numbers are very special to me for personal reasons, so it makes the win even more delightful.”
