A Gleneagle man is preparing to purchase his first home and set his young family up for the future after discovering his $400,000 Saturday Gold Lotto win a week after the draw.

The Queenslander held one of the 13 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4447 on Saturday 2 March 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $400,641.05.

“I’ve been working away and honestly didn’t even give this entry a second thought,” the elated winner explained.

“It’s crazy to think that I almost didn’t realise, hey!

“When I saw all of these numbers pop up on the screen I nearly fell over.

“The shock hasn’t quite subsided either so I’m feeling jittery.

“It’s tough going out there for everyone at the minute. I can’t wait to set my family up for the future and buy our first home.

“It’s something we’ve been scrimping and saving for so this is a huge help.
