A Maitland man thought his wife’s Instant Scratch-Its top prize was too good to be true. You can imagine their disbelief when we confirmed they really had won $1,000 a week for five years on a Live the Life ticket.  

“My husband said, ‘You’ve stitched me up, haven’t you?!’ and I said to him, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about,’ and I asked him to be serious. He thought it was a fake ticket,” the winning woman explained.

“We’re planning on paying off our debts and buying a brand-new car.

“I’ve always wanted a Prado since I was a young girl, so I’ll be able to finally buy the car that I’ve been dreaming of — it’s a great family car for my kids.”

A new set of wheels is also on the horizon for a Tatura couple. They held one of the six division one winning entries in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw and made their winning discovery early Sunday morning.

“There were a lot of screams at 5am in the morning! We were so excited, and in a lot of disbelief, the winning woman said. 

“I’m currently running on adrenaline and no sleep. I was waiting for someone to tell me it was a prank.

“We have been dying to replace our cars and now we can. Woo-hoo!” 

Wollongong man happily updating his shopping list after $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win

If you are looking for some dream shopping inspiration, a Wollongong man could have you covered. He told us he’s been making some grand plans following a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot win. 

“I’ve never seen that money in my life. I’m over the moon,” he said. 

“I’m relaxing at home, and I’m continuing to edit and revise my shopping list. Once the bills are out of the way, my family is going to have a great Christmas.”

“I’m also going to have a good holiday after not having one for years. And I also want to update some old furniture around the house.”
