A Dapto retiree is ready to celebrate this weekend after today discovering a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket he temporarily waylaid has won him $100,000.
 
The thrilled man was the 1st Prize winner in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10197, drawn on 30 November 2017.
 
A NSW Lotteries official contacted the man this morning to deliver the dream-come-true news, but the retiree admitted he couldn’t find his ticket.
 
Hours later, the winner had been reunited with his winning ticket and was ready to celebrate being $100,000 richer.
 
“How bloody good is that?!” he exclaimed.
 
“Thank you!  Thank you! I wasn’t too stressed because I know I am registered but I am glad I found the ticket!

“I’ve been playing for about 30 years and this is certainly the biggest prize I’ve won!

“Just before Christmas is bloody good!”
 
When asked what he might do with his Lucky Lotteries windfall, the man laughed and said “my kids will help me”.
 
“And the wife,” his wife added in the background.
  
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of 2 consecutive numbers from Brownsville Newsagency, Shop 6 & 7, Dandaloo Shopping Centre, 41 Brownsville Avenue, Brownsville.
 
Brownsville Newsagency owner Brian Woods described the win as “awesome”.
 
“This is the first time we’ve sold a 1st Prize winning Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot entry!  It’s taken some time, but now that we’ve broken the ice we’re ready to catch up!
 
“It’s a huge bonus to know that one of our regular customers has won!  We wish them all the very best.”
