A Cooks Hill man is looking forward to splurging on a European holiday after scoring a $200,000 1st Prize in a recent Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw. 

The Newcastle player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1401, drawn Thursday 25 July 2019. 

Speaking with us this afternoon to confirm his prize, the man recounted how he discovered the life-changing news. 

“It wasn’t long after the draw that I got an email saying that I’d won,” he explained. 

“When I opened it up I expected to see I had won $10 or something, but it didn’t have a prize amount. 

“So then I checked my ticket number online and saw I’d scored $200,000. I couldn’t believe it.” 

When asked how he planned to enjoy his Lucky Lotteries windfall, the happy man confessed it would go a long way towards a memorable holiday. 

“I’m heading off to Europe in a few weeks so the extra spending money will certainly come in handy!” he laughed. 

“It’s not enough money to retire on, but it will give me the chance to give some money to my kids and set them up for a house deposit.” 

The regular player also revealed he had his eye on a jackpot prize. 

“I’ve been playing for a while and I love the game!” he declared. 

“I’ll definitely keep playing, in fact I’ve got tickets into the next draw.
