The Opera House Lottery successfully ran for more than two decades, raising enough money for the entire construction of the Opera House. 

New South Wales residents loved the game so much that it continued its legacy under the new name of Lucky Lotteries, with two variations – Super Jackpot and Mega Jackpot – administered by New South Wales Lotteries and joining other state and jurisdictions later on. 

Since then, hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of 1st Prizes and Jackpot prizes have been won as the game expanded across The Lott’s jurisdictions.

The record for the biggest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize was set in 2022 when an Anna Bay mum took home $33,040,000 prize. 

Meanwhile, a Chatswood dad enjoyed Mega Jackpot’s biggest ever prize in 2019 – a whopping $96,040,000 windfall – like the cat that got the cream!
