A Bundaberg mum is thanking her ‘guardian angels’ for taking care of her after she discovered she won a heavenly $200,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.

The Wide Bay-Burnett resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1602, Friday 13 January 2023.

As well as winning the 1st Prize, the joyful woman scored a consolation prize of $1,000, bolstering her total windfall to $201,000.

“Are you sure? Are you having a joke?” The winning woman laughed when we called this afternoon to break the winning news.

“Truly, I nearly didn’t answer.

“I thought you were a marketing company! I’m delighted to hear that you’re not!

“The draw number is my birthday and the winning numbers had 16 in them too! That number seems to be following me around.

“This is heaven-sent. I think my late husband sent this to me. I’ve been a widow for a while and took care of my kids on my own.

“I think the people I’ve taken care of over the years and who are no longer with us might’ve sent me this too.

“It’s beautiful! I’ve helped people and now they’re helping me back.

“I sometimes talk to my husband and ask him to help me because I did a lot on my own.

“It all worked out.

“I’ll go see my kids and tell them in person.

“I’ll be able to do everything I’ve ever wanted. I might even have to go look at a little place for myself.
