A $200,000 win in a Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw has proven an awestruck Wollongong retiree wrong, after she confessed she never thought she’d win anything in her lifetime.

The Illawarra resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1603, Monday 30 January 2023, and took home $200,000.00.

“You’re joking! This can’t be real,” she screamed when we confirmed the wonderful win.

“My husband and I purchase a few tickets every week, but we never dreamed of winning anything.

“$200,000! I can’t believe this has happened to us.

“It means so much. We’re retired, so it means we can live a more comfortable life moving forward.

“It’s going straight to the bank and will make life a lot easier.

“Thank you so much!”

The winning entry of one random number was purchased at Figtree Newsagency, Shop 29, Westfield Shoppingtown, Cnr Princes Highway & The Avenue, Figtree.

The Figtree Newsagency team said they were over the moon to have sold a 1st Prize winning entry and wished their winners all the best for the future.
