A Mount Barker woman has been left in shock after the revelation of her $200,000 win in the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.

The South Australian resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1621, drawn Monday 21 August 2023.

“I’m still in shock!” the winning woman exclaimed when an official from The Lott called to confirm her life-enhancing loot.

“I honestly didn’t believe the newsagency clerk!

“I looked at him and I said, ‘Are you joking?’.

“I have never won anything, so I was absolutely dumbfounded.”

The regular player said she would need some time before deciding how she’d best use the prize.

Her winning entry of one random number was purchased at Mount Barker Central Newsagency, Shop 17 McLaren Street, Mount Barker.

Mount Barker Central Newsagency owner Rob Staples said he was thrilled his outlet had sold a 1st Prize-winning ticket to a local. 

“The team and I are very excited!” he said.
