A Western Sydney woman is planning to head back to Europe for an extended holiday after she discovered she won $200,000 as she returned home from a trip to Ireland. 

The New South Wales woman won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1285, drawn Tuesday 23 April 2019.

Confirming her win with us this morning, the woman explained how she discovered her good fortune. 

“I was in Ireland visiting my son when I won!” she exclaimed. 

“I didn’t realised I’d won until I was sitting on the tarmac inside the plane leaving, that’s when I checked my online account.

“I thought I was seeing things!

“I thought ‘oh my god, oh my god’!

“I just didn’t know if it was true or not!

“If I wasn’t already on the plane I would have extended my holiday!”

The woman also told us that although it was too late to turn around then, she’d be heading back to Europe to celebrate.

“I’ll be able to help my children buy their first homes.

“I’ll put it towards my mortgage and head back over to Europe to celebrate!”
