A San Remo retiree says he’ll be spending more time fishing and going on holidays after winning $100,000. The New South Wales player took home the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10416, drawn Tuesday 6 October 2020. 

Confirming his win with an official from The Lott this morning, the Central Coast man said he’d checked his ticket multiple times, waiting for the news to sink in. 

“Thank you very much,” he said. 

“It’s very nice! 

“Yesterday I went down to the newsagency to check the ticket and the man working there told me I could be the winner they’d been looking for. 

“I thought he was joking but it turned out he was right! 

“I couldn’t believe it. 

“I had to go back again this morning and check it again just to be sure. 

“I was very excited!” 

When asked how he planned to enjoy his $100,000 fortune, the winner knew exactly what he’d be doing. 

“The first I’ll be doing is buying myself a decent car,” he said. 

“I’m retired so I will have plenty of time to enjoy it. 

“I think I’ll be spending more time going fishing and going on holidays!” 

The winning entry was purchased at Charmhaven Newsagency, 17 Pacific Highway, Shop 15, Northlakes Shopping Village, San Remo. 

Charmhaven Newsagency owner Greg Smith said couldn’t be happier for their latest winner.
