A Constitution Hill man has confessed he’s never had a better commute to work after receiving a call from lottery officials confirming his million-dollar prize in last night’s Weekday Windfall draw.

The man in his 20s held the only division one winning entry in Weekday Windfall draw 4402 on Wednesday 12 June 2024.

We reached out to the winning Sydneysider while he was driving to work this morning.

“One million dollars!?” the winning man queried.

“I’ll have to pull over. Wow! I can’t believe it!

“I didn’t check my ticket last night.

“I only play lotteries randomly and two or three days ago I just decided to grab a Weekday Windfall ticket.  Normally, I just play Powerball and Saturday Lotto but for some reason got a Weekday Windfall ticket.  It’s the first time I’ve ever played this game.

“I’m so surprised! I’m just driving to work. I still have to work today but I’ll find it hard to concentrate!

“I’m going to use this prize to build up my small business and also buy my first house.

“Thank you! Thank you!”
