A Brompton man has admitted he had to wash his face to be sure he wasn’t dreaming after scrubbing up $1 million in last night’s Weekday Windfall draw.
 
The Adelaide resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4456, drawn Wednesday 16 October 2024 and pocketed a clean $1 million.
 
When we reached out to confirm the incredible news this morning, the newly made millionaire was still glowing with excitement despite admitting he hadn’t slept a wink since checking his ticket last night.
 
“Thank you very much!” he cheered.
 
“It’s life-changing for us. It’s just incredible.
 
“I can finally pay off my mortgage so no more thinking about that!
 

“I checked my ticket last night just before bed and I wasn’t expecting it at all.
 

“I didn’t believe it! I quickly went to the bathroom, washed my face and checked again. I had to make sure I wasn’t dreaming!
 
“I woke up my wife and we both stayed up all night.
