A Coburg man's early morning workout took an unexpected turn after he discovered his Weekday Windfall ticket hadmade him an overnight millionaire, spiking his heart rate without a single push-up. 

The Melbournian held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4404, drawn Monday 17 June 2024 and looks forward to a division one prize of $1 million. 

The go-getter shared he had woken up at the crack of dawn and checked his ticket right before he started his morning exercise routine.  

“I feel a bit disoriented right now,” he laughed. 

“I’m at work now but it will be a bit hard to concentrate today. It’s absolutely life-changing. 

“I got up early and went to go exercise and right before I was about to start, I decided to check my ticket. I couldn’t believe it. I looked at the $1 million win and I was confused. 

“I’m lost for words. You try to gather your thoughts, but you just can’t. 

“I feel as if I’ve woken up in an unusual dream. It’s a bit surreal. 

“It’s unbelievable. I’ll be able to pay off my house and be completely debt-free, which is absolutely amazing to think of at my age.  

“I’m so grateful to be in this position – very fortunate.  

“I spent all morning researching about how I’ll get paid, and what I’ll plan to do with the prize. I’ve already started to scour for overseas destinations to visit! 

“Anywhere where the weather is good. I’ll be going on a holiday to somewhere sunny! 

“Who would’ve thought this would happen to me? This year has been such a blessing. 

“How unbelievable.”
