A Gold Coast couple have struggled to have a good night’s sleep after discovering their newly made millionaire status from last night’s Weekday Windfall draw. 

The Queenslanders held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Weekday Windfall, draw 4407, drawn Monday 24 June 2024 and look forward to $1 million.

“Things like this don’t happen every day. 

“It’s just so surreal. I’m in so much shock.

“I was lying on the couch yesterday after work and I decided to put on a last-minute entry for Weekday Windfall. I haven’t purchased a ticket for months. 

“I never expected to win division one. I have goosebumps hearing you say I’ve won $1 million.

“You just dream of winning and always wonder what you would do if it happened to you.

“We both decided to work from home today because it would be too hard to concentrate.

“We’re going to be discreet and take the time to process it all.

“Thank you so much for the call.”

With $1 million about to change the course of their life, the dynamic duo shared it would help them pay off their mortgage and plan for the future.

“This will go towards bills and paying off our mortgage,” he said.

“It will really help us get ahead.”
