A Victoria Point woman’s mundane morning commute took an unexpected turn when she received the exhilarating news, that she’d landed $1 million in a recent Weekday Windfall draw.
 
The Redland City local held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4448, drawn Friday 27 September 2024 and looks forward to a neat $1 million.

With $1 million set to change her life, the winning woman shared she planned to share the love with her children and help them get ahead.
 
“We will be able to help our kids get into the property market and get ahead," she said.
 
“I’d also like to do a few renovations at our place.”
 
Her winning QuickPick 12-game entry was purchased at Victoria Point Newsagency, 4/149 Pelican’s Nest Shopping Centre, 149 Colburn Avenue, Victoria Point.
 
Victoria Point Newsagency manager Dennis Tang shared he was in shock when he discovered his outlet had sold a division one winning ticket worth $1 million.
 
“We feel so grateful to have sold our first division one winning ticket,” he said.
