While sitting back and relaxing on the beach, a Wollongong woman received the surprise news she’d won $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
 
The New South Wales resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10917, drawn Monday 20 January 2025. She also scored a consolation prize boosting her total win to $102,000.
 
The stunned woman shared she’d noticed multiple missed calls coming through but was ignoring them completely, oblivious to her newfound treasure.
 
“That’s amazing!” she laughed.

“I had absolutely zero idea I was ignoring a $100,000 phone call. 

“I’m at the beach right now and I was just drifting off when you called earlier.
 
“I feel like I’m in a bit of shock.
 
“You could say I’m a very loyal Lucky Lotteries player. I’ve always hoped I’d win one day.
 
“This has just made my day.
 
“I’ll be putting some of the prize towards a new car.”
 
Her winning entry of three consecutive numbers was purchased at Figtree Newsagency, Shop 29, Westfield Shoppingtown, Cnr Princes Highway & The Avenue, Figtree.
 
Figtree Newsagency owner Grace Ma shared she was over the moon to hear that her outlet had sold a 1st Prize-winning entry worth $100,000.
 
“It’s super exciting! It feels like our outlet is on a winning streak at the moment!” she said.
 
“In December, we sold a top prize-winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket worth $100,000.
 
“Our customers are starting to regard us as a winning outlet and our plaque wall is growing fast.
 
“We wish our winner a big congratulations and hope it lets them fulfil all their dreams.”
